Ammonium nitrate- (NH₄NO₃), universal highly concentrated nitrogen fertilizer containing ammonium and nitrate forms of nitrogen in equal quantities to provide plant nutrition throughout the growing season. Can be used on all soils and for all crops. Most effective for spring feeding of winter grain crops, as the main fertilizer for spring grain crops, corn, sunflower, etc. Fractional application of ammonium nitrate helps reduce nitrate nitrogen losses from leaching. Suitable for both direct individual application and for preparing fertilizer mixtures. Has excellent physical and chemical characteristics, which facilitates storage and application. Completely water-soluble.
Delivery terms
Packaging, transportation and storage conditions
- It is transported in special railway and truck tankers, in steel cylinders, and in tankers.
- Transported by all types of transport (except air transport) in accordance with the rules for the transportation of dangerous goods in force for the given type of transport.
- Stored in above-ground storage tanks in warehouses in accordance with the safety regulations for above-ground storage facilities approved by the national technical inspection authority.
- Storage with substances capable of forming explosive mixtures is not permitted.
