Packaging, transportation and storage conditions
- It is transported in special railway and truck tankers, in steel cylinders, and in tankers.
- Transported by all types of transport (except air transport) in accordance with the rules for the transportation of dangerous goods in force for the given type of transport.
- Cylinders filled with methanol are stored in special storage facilities or in open areas under a canopy that protects the cylinders from precipitation and direct sunlight.
- Storage with substances capable of forming explosive mixtures is not permitted.
